I am deeply thankful to Shri #AnilGupta ji, President, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (@phdcci ) and Chairman cum Managing Director, KEI Industries Ltd., Shri #SanjaySinghania ji – Sr. V.P. & Shri #AnshumanSinghania ji – V.P. and to the entire leadership of the Chamber, for nominating me to serve as the Chair of the Indirect Taxes Committee of PHDCCI for the Presidential Year 2026-27.
PHDCCI carries a distinguished 122-year legacy as a key catalyst for the growth of trade, industry and entrepreneurship across India. Through its Expert Committees, State Chapters, Forums and Centres, the Chamber has been a trusted bridge between industry and policymakers. To be entrusted with the stewardship of its Indirect Taxes Committee is a privilege that I accept with a full sense of responsibility.
I commit to delivering my very best in this role — to represent the Chamber and the collective voice of its Members with credibility and conviction before the Ministry of Finance, the #GSTCouncil, the GST Policy Wing (#CBIC) and all State #GST authorities. My endeavour will be to bring the practical, on-ground concerns of trade and industry to the attention of policymakers and to contribute constructively towards a simpler, more certain and more taxpayer-friendly indirect tax regime for the nation.
My sincere thanks also to Shri #AshokKajaria ji, Shri #GopalJiwarazka ji, Shri #SaketDalmia ji and all Past Presidents for their confidence reposed in me.
