CBIC’s Customs Notification; Addition of Rohini Yard Jetty to Maharashtra’s Coastal Trade Ports

The CBIC vide Notification No. 27/2025 – Customs dated April 22, 2025, amends Notification No. 64/1994 by adding “Rohini Yard Jetty, Rohini Village, Raigad” as entry (52) to the list of Ports for Coastal Trade in Maharashtra.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-section (1) of the section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs hereby makes the following further amendments in the Notification No. 64/1994-Customs (N.T.) dated the 21st November, 1994 of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 831 (E), dated the 21st November, 1994, for Ports for Coastal Trade, namely:-

In the said notification in the Table, against serial number 9 relating to the State of Maharashtra, in column (3), after entry (51) in column (3), the following entries shall be inserted, namely: –

“(52) Rohini Yard Jetty, Rohini Village, Raigad”
