The CBIC has notified Notification No. 69/2025–Customs (N.T.) dated October 30, 2025, introducing a prescribed fee for electronic applications under the Customs (Voluntary Revision of Entries Post Clearance) Regulations, 2025.
With this amendment to the Levy of Fees (Customs Documents) Regulations, 1970, a new entry—Serial No. (xi)—has been inserted in the fee schedule. As per the notification, a fee of Rs. 1,000 will be applicable for every Electronic Application filed under the post-clearance voluntary revision mechanism.
This step formalizes the fee structure for the newly introduced regulatory process, enabling importers and exporters to voluntarily revise customs entries after clearance in a transparent and structured manner.
The amendment, titled the Levy of Fees (Customs Documents) Amendment Regulations, 2025, takes effect immediately upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
