The CBIC vide Notification No. 17/2025-Customs dated March 07, 2025, amends Notification No. 64/2023-Customs dated December 07, 2023. It extends the date Bill of Lading must be issued from February 28, 2025 to May 31, 2025 for Yellow Peas [HS 0713 10 10]. This change is effective immediately.
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) read with section 124 of the Finance Act, 2021 (13 of 2021), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 64/2023-Customs, dated the 7th December, 2023, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 884(E)., dated the 7th December, 2023, is for Seeks to exempt imports of Yellow Peas [HS 0713 10 10] from applicable BCD and AIDC, namely:-
In the said notification, in the Table, against S. No. 1, in Column (4), for the words and figures “28th day of February, 2025”, the words and figures “31st day of May, 2025” shall be substituted.
This notification shall come into force with immediate effect.
