DGFT Extends Validity of TRQ Authorisations for Gold Imports under India-UAE CEPA till 30 September 2026

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India has issued Public Notice No. 18/2026-27 dated 01 July 2026 regarding extension in the validity of TRQ Authorisation for import of gold under India-UAE CEPA, covered under Tariff Head 7108.

The Public Notice provides that the validity of TRQ Authorisations issued in Financial Year 2025-26 for import of gold under India-UAE CEPA has been extended from the earlier validity date of 30 June 2026 up to 30 September 2026.

The extension has been issued in exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 1.03 read with Paragraph 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, as amended from time to time, and is in continuation of Public Notice No. 53/2025-26 dated 24 March 2026.

As per the Public Notice, no separate application, composition fee, amendment or endorsement shall be required for availing this automatic extension of TRQ Authorisations.

Effect of Public Notice No. 18/2026-27: The validity of TRQ Authorisations for import of gold under CTH 7108, issued under the India-UAE CEPA in the financial year 2025-26, shall stand automatically extended up to 30 September 2026.
