ICEGATE Introduces Feedback Facility for Import Trade Users

The Directorate General of Systems and Data Management, CBIC, has introduced a new stakeholder feedback mechanism on the ICEGATE portal on May 08, 2026 to enhance customer satisfaction and improve the import clearance process.

Under the new system, trade users will receive a feedback link along with the email containing the Out of Charge (OOC) PDF for import consignments. By accessing the link, users can submit feedback on various stages of the import process directly through the ICEGATE portal.

The feedback form enables users to rate their experience relating to assessment, examination, customs clearance and post-clearance processes, besides providing suggestions for improvement.
