The Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN), vide its Advisory No. 677 dated October 13, 2026, has announced that the facility for filing Annual Returns in FORM GSTR-9 and FORM GSTR-9C for FY 2025-26 has been enabled on the GST Common Portal with effect from October 8, 2026.
GSTN has advised taxpayers to ensure that all FORM GSTR-1 and FORM GSTR-3B returns for FY 2025-26 are filed to enable the GSTR-9/9C filing tile on the GST portal.
Further, taxpayers facing any difficulties or requiring assistance in filing their annual returns may raise a support ticket through the GST Helpdesk at https://selfservice.gstsystem.in/.
