The GSTN issued an update dated February 17, 2025, stating that it now allows GST payments through debit/credit cards via ICICI Bank and enables UPI payments through Karur Vysya Bank. The total number of states/UTs with this facility is 22.

This is applicable for all UPIs, Credit/Debit cards powered by Rupay, MasterCard, Visa and Diners via Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Canara Bank, ICICI Bank (Credit/Debit cards only), Karnataka Bank and Karur Vysya Bank (UPI only).
