The CBIC, has announced an extension of the due dates for filing GSTR-3B returns.
As per Notification No. 17/2025 – Central Tax, dated October 18, 2025, the deadline for furnishing the return in FORM GSTR-3B electronically for the month of September 2025, which was previously October 20th, 2025, has been extended to October 25th, 2025.
Furthermore, registered persons required to file quarterly returns for the period of July 2025 to September 2025, whose original due dates were October 22nd and October 24th, 2025, will now also have until October 25th, 2025, to file their returns.
This extension aims to provide relief to taxpayers and facilitate smoother compliance. Taxpayers are advised to take note of the revised deadlines to avoid any penalties.
