The DGFT has issued a Corrigendum dated October 10, 2025 to Public Notice No. 05/25, dated May 6, 2025, modifying the Standard Input Output Norms (SION) C888. This correction, exercised under the powers conferred by the Foreign Trade Policy 2023, specifically removes the word “Circular” from the export description for “Small and large-size Stainless Steel washers of different grades.”
Effective immediately, the revised export description for SION C888 will now simply be “Small and large-size Stainless Steel washers of different grades,” omitting the previous “Circular” specification. This change, signed by Ajay Bhadoo, Director General of Foreign Trade and Ex-officio Additional Secretary to the Government of India, aims to update and clarify the product description for trade purposes.
