The DGFT vide Notification No. 64/2024-25 dated March 10, 2025, has extended the “Free” import policy for Urad (Beans of SPP Vigna Mungo) under ITC (HS) Code 07133110 from March 31, 2025, to March 31, 2026. This extension is made under the powers of the Foreign Trade Act, 1992, and the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023. The policy now allows free import of Urad until March 31, 2026.
In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (22 of 1992), read with paragraphs 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), 2023, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby amends the Import Policy conditions as under:
