The Karnataka GST Department issued Notification No. FD 49 CSL 2024 dated May 23, 2025, has constituted the Karnataka Authority of Advance Ruling. The authority comprises Shri M.S. Kalyanam Rajesh Rama Rao, Additional Commissioner, Central Tax and Shri Prathap Kumar S., Additional Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Audit), Bengaluru as its members.
In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 96 of the Karnataka Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (Karnataka Act 27 of 2017), the Government of Karnataka hereby constitute the Karnataka Authority of Advance Ruling for the State of Karnataka consisting of: –
(1) Shri M.S. Kalyanam Rajesh Rama Rao, Additional Commissioner, Central Tax.
(2) Shri Prathap Kumar S., Additional Commissioner of Commercial Taxes (Audit), Bengaluru.
