The Chandigarh GST Department has issued Notification No. 6751 dated May 26, 2025 regarding the Setting up of Suvidha Kendras for Biometric Aadhaar Authentication for GST Registration.
In exercise of the powers conferred by proviso to sub-Rule (4A) of Rule 8 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017 read with CGST Act, 2017 and Section 21 of UTGST Act, 2017, the Excise and Taxation Commissioner, hereby notifies the Facilitation Centers and corresponding addresses thereof specified in column (3) and in column (4) respectively of the Table below, in respect of the applicant falling under the jurisdiction area specified in column (2) of the Table below for the purpose of Biometric-based Aadhaar authentication, taking photograph of the applicant and verification of original copy of KYC documents uploaded with the application for registration:
