The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC) has extended the last date for purchase of the Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) document as well as submission of bids from interested Implementation Agencies for the proposed Customs Integrated System (CIS).
As per the revised timeline, the new last date for both purchase of REOI documents and submission of bids is 31 January 2026.
The extension aims to provide additional time to prospective Implementation Agencies to study the project requirements in detail and submit comprehensive proposals. The CIS initiative is envisaged to strengthen digital integration, enhance efficiency across customs operations, and support the Government’s vision of a modern, technology-driven customs administration.
CBIC encourages all eligible and interested Implementation Agencies to make use of the extended timeline and participate in the EOI process.
