Adani Power; private power generation player; has been slapped with GST demand of over Rs 31 crore, according to company’s exchange filling.
The company’s exchange filling said, tax demand notice in the name of the erstwhile wholly owned subsidiary of the company ‘Raipur Energen’ pertaining to period July 2017 to March 2018.
The original order was given to the company in the name of its former wholly owned subsidiary formerly Raipur Energen Ltd. by the Company in August 2019), wherein a penalty of Rs. 15.60 and a GST demand of Rs. 15.60 crore have been imposed.
