AstraZeneca Pharma India Limited has received a draft order from the assessment unit, Income tax department, being passed under section 144C (1) read with section 143(3) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 for assessment year 2022-23 on March 19, 2025, according to the exchange filing.
The Company has confirmed moving an appeal challenging the order. “The matter will be challenged before the Dispute Resolution Panel by filing an appeal,” company said in their regulatory filing.
The matter relates to a claim as per the captioned order is ₹ 11.96 crores excluding interest and penalty for the assessment year 2022-23.
