The Income Tax Department has released the Excel-based utility for Income Tax Return Form ITR-6 for Assessment Year 2026–27. The utility is now available for download and use on the official Income Tax e-Filing Portal.
ITR-6 is applicable to companies other than those claiming exemption under Section 11 of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Eligible corporate taxpayers may use the newly released utility for preparing and filing their income-tax returns for the relevant assessment year.
