CGST Aurangabad Introduces Weekly Walk-in Meeting for Faster Taxpayer Grievance Redressal

The Office of the Commissioner of Goods and Services Tax and Central Excise, Aurangabad, has introduced a weekly walk-in meeting facility to strengthen taxpayer services and ensure timely and effective redressal of grievances. The initiative has been announced through Trade Notice No. 01/2026-27 dated 17 July 2026.

Under the initiative, registered taxpayers, manufacturers, traders, industrial units, contractors, trade and industry associations, Chambers of Commerce, tax professionals and members of the general public may directly meet the Commissioner of CGST and Central Excise, Aurangabad, to raise their grievances, queries and complaints relating to the formation.

The walk-in meeting will be held every Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Office of the Commissioner of CGST and Central Excise, N-5 Town Centre, CIDCO, Aurangabad – 431003. No prior appointment will be required for attending the meeting.

In case Wednesday is observed as a gazetted holiday, the walk-in meeting will be conducted on the next working day. The arrangement is intended to provide taxpayers with direct access to the senior-most officer of the Commissionerate and facilitate prompt resolution of issues.

The Commissionerate has requested all registered taxpayers, professional bodies, trade organisations, manufacturers’ associations and other stakeholders to give wide publicity to the initiative so that eligible persons can make effective use of the facility.

The measure reflects the Department’s continued commitment to improving taxpayer facilitation, enhancing transparency and promoting responsive tax administration across the jurisdiction of the CGST and Central Excise Commissionerate covering Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Nanded and adjoining divisions.
