Department of Trade and Taxes, GNCTD reallocates work among Senior Officers with immediate effect

The Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, Department of Trade and Taxes, has issued an order reallocating work among senior officers of the Department with immediate effect. The order has been issued under File No. F.III/7/T&T/Misc./2020/Estt./Pt.File-I/4498–4503 dated 01.07.2026.

As per the order, the Competent Authority has assigned the revised work allocation in exercise of powers conferred under Section 5(1), Section 5(3) read with Section 2(91) of the DGST Act, 2017 and Rules made thereunder, and also under Section 68(1) of the DVAT Act, 2004.

Sh. Sanjeev Kumar, SCTT-I has been assigned Administration, Vigilance and A.E-I, along with Zones III, V and VI. He will also handle OHA all cases relating to Zones I, II, VII and IX, and all GST Appeals of Zones I, II, VII and IX.

Sh. Navlendra Kumar Singh, SCTT-II has been entrusted with Facility Management, Finance & Accounts, Information & Technology, Internal Review, Audit and Technology, along with Zones II, VII and IX. He will further handle OHA all cases of Zones III, V, VI and X, and all GST Appeals of Zones III, V, VI and X.

Sh. Shubhankar Ghosh, ACTT has been allocated Policy & Research, Law & Judicial and First Appellate Authority (RTI), along with Zones I and X. He will also deal with OHA all cases of Zones IV and XI (KCS) and all GST Appeals of Zones IV and XI (KCS).

Ms. Gurpreet Singh, JCTT-I has been assigned Public Grievances & Information, A.E-II and Sewa Kendra, along with Zones IV and XI (KCS). She will also handle OHA all cases of Zones VIII, XII (Special Zone) and Embassy Refund, and all GST Appeals of Zones VIII, XII (Special Zone) and Embassy Refund.

Ms. Shimray Asaiwo Bellrose, JCTT-II has been allocated Zones VIII, XII (Special Zone) and Embassy Refund.

The order also provides for a link officer arrangement among the senior officers to ensure continuity of work. The arrangement specifies first and second link officers for each officer in case of absence or administrative requirement.

The order has been issued in supersession of all previous orders on the subject and with the approval of the Commissioner, Trade and Taxes. Copies have been marked to the Commissioner, all SCTTs/ACTTs/JCTT, SSA(IT), all Branch and Ward Incharges through concerned officers, and the concerned dealing assistant/guard file.
