In a significant administrative development aimed at strengthening the functioning of the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT), the Vijayawada Bench, Andhra Pradesh, has notified that it will commence operations from its new premises with effect from 01 July 2026.
The announcement has been made through Public Notice No. 03/2026 dated 29 June 2026, issued under F. No. GSTAT/Vij/2026/016, informing all stakeholders, including taxpayers, departmental authorities, authorised representatives and other concerned parties, regarding the change in the functioning location of the Tribunal.
As per the Public Notice, the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT), Vijayawada Bench, along with its Helpdesk, shall function from the following address:

The Tribunal has clarified that all judicial and administrative functions of the Vijayawada Bench shall be carried out from the above premises with effect from 01 July 2026. Stakeholders appearing before the Tribunal are advised to take note of the revised address for all future proceedings, filings and official correspondence.
The Public Notice further states that the relocation has been undertaken in the public interest to facilitate the effective functioning of the GST Appellate Tribunal and to ensure greater convenience for taxpayers and other stakeholders.
Note: Stakeholders are advised to ensure that all future appearances, filings and communications before the GSTAT Vijayawada Bench are made at the above-mentioned new premises from 01 July 2026 onwards.
