In a significant initiative aimed at ensuring smooth functioning of the newly established Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT), Jodhpur Bench, the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue has announced the establishment of a dedicated Help Desk for stakeholders requiring assistance in matters relating to appeals before the Tribunal.
As per Public Notice No. 01/2026, issued vide File No. GSTAT/JDP/Notice/01/2026-27 dated 16.06.2026, the Help Desk has been set up to facilitate taxpayers, competent departmental authorities, authorised representatives and other concerned parties by providing guidance and clarifications regarding procedural aspects connected with the filing of appeals and applications before the GST Appellate Tribunal.
The Help Desk has been established at the following location:
Ground Floor, GST Seva Kendra, CGST & Central Excise, Jodhpur Commissionerate, G-105, New Jodhpur Industrial Area, Basni, Jodhpur – 342003.
The initiative is expected to enhance stakeholder awareness and ensure hassle-free access to procedural information during the initial phase of operations of the GSTAT, Jodhpur Bench.
According to the notification, the Help Desk shall remain operational on all working days from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, enabling stakeholders to seek timely assistance on issues related to the filing process and other procedural requirements before the Tribunal.

The establishment of the Help Desk reflects the Government’s commitment towards strengthening the appellate mechanism under the GST framework and ensuring that taxpayers and other stakeholders receive adequate support for effective access to justice.
The Public Notice further states that the order has been issued with the approval of the Hon’ble Vice-President, GSTAT Rajasthan.
