The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials conducted raids on the properties belonging to Kondapalli Srinivasa Rao, an office subordinate (attender) working in the office of the Assistant Commissioner of State Tax, Vijayawada, on Friday.
The ACB officials seized a house, a house site, 760 grams of gold jewellery, 7.8 kgs of silver, ₹22 lakh in bank accounts and other valuables, the ACB officials said in a release.
The ACB teams searched the houses of Srinivasa Rao and his relatives in three locations. The accused was caught while allegedly acceptying bribe of ₹16,000 in October, 2025. He has been under suspension till now.
Another case was registered against the accused for possessing assets disproportionate to his legal sources of income.
The accused would be produced before the ACB Special Court in Vijayawada. Further investigation is on.
