The Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry has issued Circular No. K-43014(22)/32/2020-SEZ dated 12th February, 2026, revising the user charges for SEZ-Online services with effect from 01.01.2026.
The decision follows multiple representations received from NSDL, which manages the SEZ-Online system for administration and management of Special Economic Zones (SEZs). It was highlighted that consequent to the migration of import-export and related transactions for goods from SEZ-Online to ICEGATE, the revenue stream of NSDL had been adversely impacted, making operations financially unremunerative.
After detailed examination of the matter and considering the recommendations of the Committee chaired by the Development Commissioner, Cochin SEZ, the Government has approved revision of service charges as detailed below:

The revised rates shall be in supersession of this Department’s letter No. K-43014(22)/32/2020-SEZ dated 02.12.2021.
All Development Commissioners of SEZs have been requested to give wide publicity to the revised charges. NSDL has also been directed to update the information on the SEZ-Online portal, and necessary updates will be made on the official SEZ India website.
