In a bid to expedite the clearance of pending assessment cases for the financial year 2021–22, the Department of Trade & Taxes, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, has decided to keep its offices open on all Saturdays and Sundays falling in December 2025.
As per the order issued by the Administration Branch of the Department, all officers and officials posted in the wards may attend office on these days to ensure timely disposal of assessment work and reduction of pendency.
However, considering the observance of the festival of Christmas, employees who wish to participate in the festivities (Christmas) have been exempted from attending office on December 25, 2025.
The order has been issued with the prior approval of the Competent Authority.
This initiative underscores the Department’s commitment to improving administrative efficiency and ensuring timely completion of statutory functions.
