The Rajasthan Commercial Taxes Department has issued an Order vide RajKaj Ref No.: 13045471 dated January 16, 2025 superseding a previous directive (Ref. 12826227, dated January 03, 2025). It mandates specific Deputy Commissioners and their teams to scrutinize orders related to refunds, rectifications, and reduced tax demands from Show Cause Notices (SCNs) for FYs 2022-23 to 2024-25 across assigned zones/wings. The aim is to verify legal correctness and safeguard revenue. Findings must be reported to the Additional Commissioner (GST) HQ, Jaipur, at directed intervals. The order assigns distinct zones/wings to each Deputy Commissioner’s office for review.
In supersession of this department’s order Rajkaj Ref. no. 12826227, dated January 03, 2025, the following offices, as mentioned in the table, shall scrutinize all the orders related to refund, rectification and other orders in which quantum of demand has been reduced from the amount of respective Show Cause Notice (SCN) for the FYs 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25 of the Zones and Wings as mentioned in the table below. They shall verify the legality and correctness of the orders passed in order to safeguard the interest of revenue and submit their findings along with report to the Additional Commissioner (GST) HQ, Jaipur on regular intervals, as may be directed.
