The DGFT issued Circular vide 01/03/2024-25 – Cash dated November 04, 2025, informed all divisions that the Armed Forces Flag Day will be observed on 7th December 2025. The Department of Ex-Serviceman Welfare has appealed for a voluntary donation of at least Rs.300 from November 2025 salaries. Officials are requested to submit their willingness forms by 14th November 2025 to the Cash Section, Room No. 490, Udyog Bhawan.
All Divisions/Sections of DGFT (HQ) are hereby informed that the Armed Forces Flag Day (AFFD) is observed on 7th December every year to honour Battle Casualties and men in uniform who fought bravely not only to protect the borders of our nation, but also fight terrorism and insurgency. This year, as a mark of special tribute to success of “Operation Sindoor” DoPT vide O.M. No. A-51/25/2024-AD-III dated 30th September, 2025 (Copy enclosed) has forwarded a copy of D.O. letter No.7(7)/2025-D (Res-II) dated 11.09.2025 (Copy enclosed) received from D/o Ex-Serviceman Welfare, Ministry of Defence which is self explanatory.
Vide D.O. letter dated 11.09.2025 Department of Ex-Serviceman Welfare has made an appeal to all Central Govt. officials/staff of the Ministries/Departments to voluntarily donate a minimum amount of Rs.300/- from their salaries for the month of November, 2025 so that the amount so collected is available before the Flag Day.
All the concerned officials and Sectional In-charge of DGFT (HQ) are hereby requested to bring this to the notice of all officials/staffs under their control and send duly filled up form for willingness attached herewith latest by 14th November, 2025 to the Cash Section, Room No. 490, Udyog Bhawan for deduction an amount of Rs.300/- from the salary for the month of November, 2025 towards the Flag Day.
