The DGFT issued Notification No. 30/2025-26 dated September 18, 2025 amends the import policy condition for ATS-8 [(4R-Cis)-1,1-Dimethylethyl-6-cyanomethyl-2,2-dimethyl-1-3-dioxane-4-acetate] under Chapter 29 of the ITC (HS) 2022 Schedule-I. Effective immediately, imports of ATS-8 with a CIF value below US$111 per kg are restricted until September 30, 2026. However, this Minimum Import Price (MIP) condition does not apply to imports by Advance Authorization holders, Export Oriented Units (EOUs), and SEZ units, provided the imported inputs are not sold in the Domestic Tariff Area (DTA). The notification includes a table listing revised import policy conditions for various HS codes under Chapter 29, including 29329990, 29339990, 29333990, 29321990, 29349990, 29420090, 29189990, 29159099, 29163990, 29225090, among others, all of which remain ‘Free’ but are now subject to the new restriction on ATS-8 as specified.
In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 and Section 5 of Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby amends the Import Policy Condition of the following HS codes covered under Chapter 29 of ITC (HS), 2022, Schedule – I (Import Policy) with immediate effect, as under:

MIP condition on the above items shall not be applicable for imports by Advance Authorization holders, Export Oriented Units (EOUs) and units in the SEZ, subject to the condition that the imported inputs are not sold into the Domestic Tariff Area (DTА).
Effect of the Notification: Import of ATS-8 {(4R-Cis)-1,1-Dimethylethyl-6- cyanomethyl-2,2-dimethyl-1-3- dioxane-4-acetate} under Chapter 29 of ITC (HS), 2022, Schedule – I (Import Policy), having a CIF value of less than US$111 per kg, is ‘Restricted’ till 30.09.2026, with immediate effect. However, inputs imported by Advance Authorization holders, EOUs and SEZ shall be exempted from the MIP condition.
