The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) vide Order S.O. 4170(E). dated September 15, 2025 has notified retail prices for nine drug formulations under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013.
According to the notification, the fixed prices are exclusive of GST and apply to the respective manufacturers and marketers who applied for approval.

NPPA Guidelines:
- Manufacturers must issue updated price lists to NPPA, state drug controllers, and dealers.
- Retailers are required to display the latest price lists prominently.
- Non-compliance may attract penalties under the DPCO, 2013 and the Essential Commodities Act, 1955.
- This order supersedes any earlier price orders for the same formulations.
