The Income Tax Department on August 08, 2025, has announced that the Excel Utility for filing Income Tax Return Form ITR-5 for the Assessment Year 2025–26 is now live and available for taxpayers.
Taxpayers can now access the utility via the official e-filing portal: https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/.
